Who we are

Castille Labs is a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Chip Castille, located in Lafayette, Louisiana, United States. Castille Labs is the data controller for information collected through castillelabs.net. Questions about this policy can go to chip@castillelabs.net.

What we collect

Contact form. If you submit the form on our contact page, we receive the name, email address, area of interest, and message you provide. We collect this only because you chose to send it, and we use it only to respond to you.

Analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and record which documents are downloaded. It does not use cookies, does not build a profile of you, and does not follow you across other sites. What we see is aggregate: how many people read a page, not who they were.

We do not run advertising trackers, we do not sell or share information with data brokers, and we do not maintain a mailing list you can be added to without asking.

Who processes it

Two service providers handle data on our behalf. Vercel hosts the site and provides the analytics described above. Resend delivers contact-form submissions to our inbox. Each receives only what it needs to perform that function.

How long we keep it

Contact-form messages arrive as email and are retained in our mailbox as ordinary business correspondence. Ask us to delete yours and we will. Analytics data is aggregate and retained by Vercel under its own retention schedule; it is not tied to you individually.

Your choices

Write to chip@castillelabs.net to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA; we honor those requests regardless of whether a particular law applies to you.

Children

This site is intended for business use and is not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the effective date above. The current version always lives at this address.
